I led the development of a Show Set Design Package for the Shanghai Retail Experience, a 50,000 sq ft themed retail space developed in conjunction with a Family Entertainment Center (My Little Pony and Transformers).
We subdivided this 50,000 sq ft space into distinct retail zones characterized by specific architectural styles endemic to California. We developed a design package for each retail property in this space.
Monterey, CA themed retail district
The four retail zones are Monterey Coastal, Carmel Fairytale, Spanish Revival, and Main Street USA. Within each zone, we planned a variety of spaces to attract diverse retailers throughout the shopping district.
Carmel, CA cottage inspired storefronts
We produced detailed Show Set packages for each building and specified materials, colors, and fixtures to ensure thematic cohesion.
